I am a licensed mental health counselor who has worked in the field for almost 9 years. I completed my Bachelor's of Psychology in 2009 and went straight into a Master's of Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I received my Master's Degree in 2012. Since then I have worked with families, couples, and individuals of all ages. I work as a counselor in a college setting as well, and I am very familiar with the issues that come with college and young adulthood.
My approach to counseling is individualized from person to person. I am warm, encouraging, and down-to-earth while also having a directive approach in session. Areas of interest include anxiety disorders, depression, adjustment and stress, family issues, trauma, and adverse childhood experiences. I tend to view client's stories through a trauma-informed lens. I have extensive history working with victims of abuse, domestic violence, and sexual violence. I am an advocate for social justice and equality.
In my work with clients, I am sure to provide services individualized to your specific and unique needs and goals. I strive to work with you and along side you. Building on strengths is something important that I do with my work with clients. Also, insight building is a big part of what I do in treatment. Once an individual gains some insight into their patterns, thoughts, and behaviors then we can move forward with change.
Taking that first step to reach out to a provider can be very difficult. I am glad that you are practicing self-care by exploring counseling options. If you are ready to begin your journey, I am here to walk alongside you.
I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

She is very supportive and offers a safe environment
This is my second attempt at therapy, my first was a dismal failure. I can honestly say I got more out of my first 30 minutes with Brittany than in 9 weeks with my previous, face to face therapist. Since then I have had a couple more appointments and I feel that I can really go a long way with her as my therapist.
She’s flexible and supportive! My time with her goes by fast. She’s a great listener.
Brittany's fantastic! She gives me space but clearly cares and is present to help whenever/however she can. And I never feel negatively judged, which is potentially the most important thing to me.
I've only been doing counseling with Brittany for about a month but she's been absolutely great. After I had to get rematched I was a little frustrated and aggravated because I didn't know what would happen with my new counselor but Brittany made it very easy and helped lesson my anxiety over it. She's very professional and has a really personal feel to her. I'm grateful to have been matched with her.
She is super responsive and friendly! I’m pretty closed off and she got things from me immediately. She’s been amazing.
Excellent! She is very caring and understanding! I was unsure about online therapy but she has opened my eyes to it!
Brittany is fantastic. She is respectful and encouraging and clearly knows what she’s talking about. For people who need gentle ears to hear them, Brittany is a blessing.
Although I still may be towards the beginning of my mental health journey, Brittany has done a lot for me in providing a safe and comfortable place to speak freely, and be provided with helpful advice as to how to find and deal with problems. I look forward to continuing this journey with her help.
Brittany is an angel sent here by god to do great work for us broken souls. Brittany has been helping me through the roughest time of my life right now. My wife left me out of nowhere in November, was put on FMLA on the same day for a very badly damaged hand and arm, Lost my job due to my hand not being healed, and I have to put my dog of 16 yrs down next Monday! Brittany has saved my life 3 times and she didnt even know it! When we meet she makes me feel like family, like I matter and she genuinely cares. I hope her family knows they have the sweetest, caring, and down right awesome lady they have. Brittany has something a lot of people don't get easily from me and that's my full on respect and my gratitude for all she has done for me. This lady gets a BIG BIG THANK YOU from me and I vote she gets a damn raise that reflects her dedication to her patients and her work! Thank you my friend. Don't stop being awesome!
Brittany is an answered prayer and Godsend in my life. She strikes the perfect balance of providing a neutral safe place to share while gently prompting me to explore areas I wouldn’t have seen as relevant without her guidance. After every session with her I feel validated, grateful and in a great headspace.
After just the few sessions I've had with her, I feel as if I can open up more than ever. She's super awesome, and is really helpful with coping and understanding my emotions! I definitely think that she is a knowledgeable person. I'm excited to spend more time understanding myself with her help. I would definitely recommend her to any person that needed guidance!
Brittany is absolutely amazing. Every session and correspondence makes me feel so much more balanced and equipped for facing the day.
Nothing bad to say!! She's great!
