Welcome to Betterhelp!
My name is Jennifer Papaccio. I hold multiple state licenses in Professional Clinical Counseling which means I do a whole lot of continuing education study!
I work with adults utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Neurocognitive Behavioral Therapy. Many other modalities are also employed to ensure that we maximize your therapeutic benefit. We will implement what you learn to positively affect your daily life and your long-term aspirations. Additionally, we will explore neuroplasticity, how the brain processes information, to gain insight into creative solutions that align with your treatment goals.
My career history includes extensive experience in crisis intervention, correctional counseling, primary counseling in private practice, community mental health services, and guidance provided in the Intellectual Disabilities community.
Thank you for the time you've taken to review my profile. I wish you great success!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Overall rating:
Really nice, non judgmental and offers multiple options for progress
Jen quickly figured out what was wrong, and delivered a multi-dimensional plan of attack that suited my personality. It’s only the start of my new journey but I am positive she will be the key to delivering me 2.0.
I can’t believe I’ve only had three sessions with Jenifer and she already feels extremely close to me. She does a great job at not trying to change your core but instead helping you to develop skills to help you in your day to day. I know I have a long way to go but she has already done a lot in a short time to give me the confidence to believe that I can get through this. I want to thank her all the time!
J understands me so well and we have clicked more than other therapists I’ve tried. I feel comfortable talking to her and she listens, and I feel genuinely heard and supported.
She's conscientious and respects my opinions on things. And she comes up with interesting out-of-the-box solutions.
