"Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy – the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.” Brené Brown

At one time or another, we all go through difficult and painful times of struggles, challenges, darkness, more questions than answers, loneliness. For some it looks like depression and/or anxiety. For others, it presents itself through an eating disorder, substance abuse or other type of addiction. Some people retreat inward and isolate, believing no one would understand them if they tried to explain how they feel, or they get stuck in believing they would be judged if they shared their deepest thoughts and feelings.

I am here to walk the journey towards healing with you. My clients have described feeling the atmosphere and energy of our sessions as safe, nonjudgmental and that they feel a genuine sense of me caring about them as an individual. I am humbled and grateful that my clients experience this, as this is exactly the message that truly comes from my heart. It is the reason I work in the field. It is my passion, and it helps me fulfill my sense of purpose in life. My hope is that as we walk together on your road to recovery and healing, you will have the freedom to explore what your struggles are and where they come from, and I will help you understand patterns of thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, and relationships that are keeping you stuck in pain. I believe this process will leave you feeling empowered to live your best life.

My primary specialties are mood disorders, trauma, women’s issues, family of origin issues and current family relationship concerns. My primary modalities are CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), Psychodynamic, and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy).

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Stephanie Rodgers is a great fit for me. I like how well she pays attentions. I am able to definitely speak openly and comfortably. She responds well in a timely manner and is understanding. I appreciate that about her. I am able tell her what I want to work on and she readily gets involved. She works with me, with the intent to help me. And I'm doing great. I'm enthusiastic, I'm definitely feeling better, and I'm working with her to work with me. That how it works, the magic. She gives me worksheets which I love and I'm enthusiastic about our future moving forward.

I feel so blessed to have found Stephanie. I have wasted time and money over the past two years with two different therapists. I was hesitant to even try again. Stephanie and I just recently started and I’m looking forward to a long relationship with her. I truly believe she will be the answer I’ve been looking for.

Stephanie is amazing. I haven’t been to therapy in years because I never had a good experience with them. It always seemed like my progress wasn’t progress at all. I’m glad to now finally have a safe space where I can talk without being judged

Reviewed September 2021

Stephanie is so great, she's been more than a therapist, she's been a great companion and friend to talk about things with, and I truly enjoy all the time that I get with her. I just wish we had more!

Reviewed September 2021

Stephanie Rogers is always on point. She knows exactly what questions to ask and even if I can't express myself well she always understands how I feel. She is so nonjudgmental which is not the experience I typically get when having a Christian therapist. I've had therapist for the last 17 years--since I was a youth. Hands down, she is the best one I've ever had! Looking forward to the journey ahead with her.
