Joy has been working in the mental health field since 2005. She earned her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling (MAPC) and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (BA) from Ottawa University, along with two Certification of Advanced Degrees in Clinical Counseling and Trauma, Abuse and Deprivation (CAGS). She has credentials from the National Board of Certified Counselors as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH).
