Asalāmu alaykum and hello, I’m Khafayah.

Are you feeling emotionally tired, overwhelmed, or carrying things you have not been able to say out loud?

You might be navigating a difficult relationship, feeling unseen or silenced, or struggling to make sense of your emotions while trying to hold everything together for others.

You do not have to carry this alone.

I offer a calm, supportive space where you can speak openly, without judgement. We will go at your pace, gently exploring what you are experiencing and helping you reconnect with yourself.

I support clients working through:

* emotional overwhelm, anxiety, grief, or burnout

* toxic, narcissistic, or spiritually difficult relationships

* low self-worth, shame, and inner conflict

* cultural or faith-related identity struggles

* feeling lost, unheard, or disconnected from yourself

My approach is trauma-informed and integrative. I draw from person-centred counselling, CBT, emotional regulation tools, and reflective journaling.

If your faith is important to you, I also offer the option to include Islamic counselling. This can involve Qur’anic reflections, duʿāʾ, and understanding emotional healing through a spiritual lens. If not, we can focus purely on your emotional experience.

Many of the women I work with are navigating deep emotional wounds shaped by silence, family expectations, or confusion within their relationships. I provide a respectful space for you to explore your story, release what no longer serves you, and begin to rebuild your sense of self.

Therapy with me is not about quick fixes. It is about steady, meaningful healing, at a pace that feels safe for you.

I am a BACP Accredited Member, an NCPS Accredited Registrant, and a member of the Muslim Counsellors and Psychotherapists Network. I also engage in regular clinical supervision to ensure safe and ethical practice.

If you feel ready, I would be honoured to support you on your journey.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
