My deep-rooted passion for understanding human emotions, behaviours, and the resilience of the human spirit has been a driving force since my early years. This love for mental health and wellbeing has guided me towards a career in therapy, where I can assist individuals in enhancing their self-awareness, navigating life's challenges, and fostering enduring change.

My education in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy has provided me with a solid theoretical foundation in humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural therapy. I focus on adults who are trauma survivors, people with anxiety/depression, grief, relationship problems, trauma, low self-esteem, mild, moderate, and severe depression, or dread of the future. These are just a few of the diverse presenting issues I have had the honour of working with during my clinical training, placements, and private practice. My experiences have reinforced my belief that evidence-based therapy, empathy, and active listening can be beneficial in treatment.

As a therapist, I am motivated by the immense privilege of seeing my clients rediscover their inner capacity for resilience and rewrite their stories. To help clients feel heard and empowered, I strive to create a secure and accepting environment. Using my integrative and collaborative approach, I meet clients where they are and incorporate interventions tailored to their specific needs. I integrate cognitive-behavioural techniques, mindfulness, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, PCT or Trauma-informed therapy. Above all, my objective is to assist and support my clients in developing resilience and accomplishing their individual goals.

My commitment to individual treatment is complemented by a strong dedication to my professional growth. My objective include to help minimise the stigma associated with mental health issues and increase access to therapy for marginalised communities as I continue my journey through this career path. The prospect of using empathy, expertise, and commitment to help those I care about and truly impact their lives excites me and I consistently stay abreast of the latest research and actively engage in workshops and supervision to enhance my practice. I also recognise the importance of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teamwork in providing holistic care.

I believe in providing not just care, but genuine compassion and support to clients during their most vulnerable moments and enhancing their quality of life. I work with BetterHelp teams to providing a high standard of care that is tailored in a counselling approaches to meet the unique emotional and psychological needs of each clients. I pride myself as able to uphold the highest standards of professional ethics and confidentiality.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I have carried so much weight over the years that's I began to doubt weather my worries and struggles were real or I was going crazy. Joseph has helped me start to unpack my feelings and come out of my shell and find the me that I have been sheltering from the world. One of the most effective and challenging things Joseph has done for me is challenged my perception of my situation and how I see myself, and to question weather this view is true to reality
