Hi, I’m Suzi.

I believe in the human capacity to thrive — not just survive — and in your right to live as your authentic self, unapologetically.

By arriving here today, you’ve already taken a meaningful step. I want to acknowledge the courage it can take to reach out, and to reassure you that you are in safe hands.

If you’re experiencing challenges such as anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties, addiction, low self-esteem, work-related stress, or other personal struggles, I invite you to get in touch and arrange an initial session.

I am a highly experienced counsellor, psychotherapist and life coach, with many years of practice supporting people through a wide range of human experiences, across diverse contexts and locations. My role is to get to know you, to guide and support you, and to empower you in finding your way back to clarity, stability, and direction in your life.

I offer a skilled, compassionate, and creatively rich therapeutic service, tailored to your individual needs. Our work together takes place in a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space, where your full expression is welcomed — allowing you the freedom to explore your inner world and make sense of your life in your own way.

My approach is intuitive and integrative. I am trained in Humanistic, Person-Centred, and Cognitive Behavioural frameworks, placing you at the centre of the therapeutic process. I value the therapeutic relationship deeply and honour your autonomous right to be self-governing. I do not give advice, label, pathologise, or minimise any human experience. Instead, I meet you exactly where you are, with acceptance, respect, and compassion.

I am a BACP and EAC Registered and Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist, a certified PSYCH-K® Facilitator, and Strategic Intervention life Coach with over 18 years’ experience in both brief, solution-focused and long-term therapeutic work.

My areas of specialism include trauma resolution - nervous system safety, addiction, anxiety, relationship issues, and moderate to complex bereavement. I also have extensive experience supporting expats, immigrants, and second- or third-culture individuals navigating survival, identity and adaptation.

My professional background includes working with the UK’s largest bereavement charity, Cruse Bereavement Care — three years in community services and five years within HMP Peterborough prison — supporting expected, unexpected, and complex traumatic loss. I have also worked with Rape Crisis (formerly SARC – Sexual Assault Referral Centre) for four years, supporting women affected by sexual assault and abuse.

A personal bereavement in 2012 sparked a deep interest in the mind–body–spirit connection and neuroscience research. This led me to attend the Hay House I Can Do It event in New York City in 2013, and later to train in PSYCH-K® — a subconscious belief-change process endorsed by world-renowned cell biologist Dr. Bruce Lipton, PhD.

As a PSYCH-K® Facilitator, I value the way this work respectfully integrates the spiritual dimension of self — embracing all belief systems — while supporting meaningful, lasting shifts at the subconscious level. This allows individuals to release limiting beliefs and reconnect with healthier, more empowered responses to life.

I have over 11 years’ experience in private practice, working in person Cambridgeshire (UK), Geneva (Switzerland), and Como (Italy), and have been offering online therapy internationally for individuals and couples since 2019. My work is multicultural, inclusive, and adapted to the unique lived experience of each person I support.

I believe it is your birthright to live a more joyful, fulfilling, and authentic life. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you on your journey toward the changes you wish to create.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I can highly recommend Suzanne D’offay de Rieux I love my therapy sessions with her as I get a lot out of them making me feel seen, heard and understood.

Suzanne curates a safe and personalised space for open discussions led with empathy and active listening and practical tips and exercises that help me reach profound enlightened perspectives on how to heal and live my life with freedom and integrity. Love our sessions.

Suzanne is a very compassionate therapist. She's able to listen without judgement and guide me towards coming up with solutions on my own without telling me what I should or shouldn't do. She's a very calming and healing presence.

Suzanne creates such a warm, safe space where I feel completely understood and never judged. She really gets how I think and brings so much positivity into our sessions, giving thoughtful advice whenever I need it. It’s been a really supportive experience working with her.

Suzanne was the first therapist that I went to, and I didn't know what to expect from a therapy session. Still, she made me want to continue the sessions since I felt relieved and validated after our session. She doesn't push me to talk when I need silence; she embraces me even when I struggle to articulate my feelings. She helped me connect the dots and the missing lines from my thoughts and offered lots of tools to help me cope and navigate the situation I was facing. Thank you Suzanne.

She is my 1st therapist and she made it such an ease to talk to and participate in the session. My self awareness is slowly increasing and she does help me out a lot in ways I dont know how to describe. Thank you Suzanne <3

Suzanne is a true gem. She mixes her solid expertise with spiritualism and intuition to create powerful sessions where I feel seen at more than an intellectual level. I’ve had 3 therapists over the years and she is by far the best. So grateful for her help and I am now also recommending her to my mother this year.

Suzanne, your time, support, assurance and encouragement have helped me so much. I have more clarity to carry on with life focusing on what I can do, knowing everything will work out eventually

She provides for me a safe space to exist, she has never ever made me feel judged, she listens deeply, she gives space and freedom to get everything off my mind, she gives fantastic insight into perspectives and views that make me think and then the views and the experiences ive been through have new colour to them helping me to process emotions and pain still associated with them. Shes guided me through incredible lessons helping me to exist and centre my being in my present day rather than my past or my future. Shes honestly a blessing I can talk to weekly helping me get through life a bit better. Im so grateful.

Even though I have eyes that see, she helps me to see things differently and it's opening me up more to who I am, who I've been and become more comfortable in where I am and where I intend to go. One of the best and hardest parts of my week is the therapy session, but its working for me . Truly grateful for Suzanne, her talent and expertise.

First session with Suzi, first session of therapy ever; and it feels like such a weight off of my mind. Just talking and having loading, getting an unbiased opinion certainly helps thought processing. Looking forward to carrying on.

Wonderful energy. Matched through BetterHelp. Even after a handful of sessions the energy I have received from Suzi has enabled me to blast into a new direction. I'm staying put. I'm working through my mind and Suzi has given me the confidence to smash through it.

Reviewed May 2022

Suzi has been my first experience of a therapist and she's been wonderful. She listens carefully and without any hint of judgement, and has helped me to sit with uncomfortable feelings and thoughts in order to make sense of them instead of just pretending they don't exist. Very grateful for your help, thank you.

Reviewed May 2022

Suzi is amazing. I’ve only recently started with her but I love her approach. She is exactly what I envisioned therapy to be like. She struck a chord with me instantly, she’s very understanding, I love her holistic approach and love how there’s a bit more grit and action to her responses not just listening and asking how you feel about something which is exactly what I was looking for. Would highly recommend.

Working well together

Reviewed May 2022

I did not have many sessions with Suzanne yet although my experience with her is very positive and I am always looking forward our next scheduled therapy. Suzanne helps me get to the bottom of my concerns, I feel listened to and after each session I feel lifted and relieved in some way. My communication with my partner, family, friends and colleagues already improved and this is greatly needed in my life. I also have more understanding for others behaviours. I tried therapy with several different therapists outside Better Help and those were very unsuccessful, my experience with Suzanne feels very different in many aspects and I know I would like to continue to work with her on my issues.
