I am a Licensed counselling Therapist in the UK. I have a vast amount of experience in social services settings/mental health as a therapist working with a variety of individuals, children and families from different backgrounds presenting issues ranging from Stress, anxiety, addiction, depression and other various mental health issues. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where issues, thoughts, and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
I believe that beginning where the client is at in the treatment process is key to a successful and beneficial therapeutic experience. My goal is to build upon what is working in the client's life and collaborate with my clients to address the needs that they feel should be addressed in a way that they feel comfortable with.
I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Ian has been amazing to work with and would recommend him to anyone struggling with ADHD
Ian is really a good mentor and a calm person, he was always very prompt about all my queries and doubts, he helped me to look at things in different and positive ways. Thankyou for being my support during my low time Ian Smith. All the good wishes for you.
Ian listens attentively and responds with empathy and helpful tools, worksheets and tasks to complete around topics raised during the sessions.
Ian is extremely understanding, very patient and great and building rapport. His sense of humour helps when dealing with sensitive subjects. He is very patient and great at providing guidance and advice
Ian's fantastic! He really helped me get through a pretty rough patch. I quite enjoyed his style - he's easy to talk to, and knows when to listen and when to challenge. There were moments where he'd say something that seemed fairly innocuous at first, but were ultimately quite profound and had me looking at my life from a completely different angle. I'd happily work with him again any time!
Ian’s great at helping you get through difficulties while keeping the conversation light and focused.
Happy I met you Ian ;)

Ian is a patient, understanding, and kind individual with expansive experience in substance abuse. I cannot more highly recommend him as a therapist.
