Mr. Whiteman has been a caring therapist who's willing to call out flawed thinking (which is something I value highly in a therapist) and has been able to relate to me on a human level, as opposed to a textbook approach. He's able to tackle a wide array of issues in an integrative manner.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Troy was a great help in such a small amount of time. He helped me tackle my anxiety and stress levels. His anecdotes are always helpful.
Very thoughtful and helps unpack complicated feelings or emotions, in a very productive way to help sort through how to acknowledge your experiences and change for the better.
Troy has made himself available with off schedule appointments and messaging to help accommodate my busy schedule and weekly therapy needs. Every session I walk away with a little more insight and some new suggestions on managing my mental health. I always leave therapy with a few great takeaways. Either something he said caught my attention or a useful tool/exercise is suggested . He doesn’t force the conversation down a certain path with agenda. We kind of let the talk take us where we need to go.
He has been very helpful and active with me in my life.
He was patient and listened to my story and then gave helpful advice without any judgement or pressure.
He’s understanding, kind, and tries to give you some sort of insight and it seems as if he’s trying to feel the emotions you’re going through.
Greta guy super helpful
Extremely thoughtful, insightful, and appreciate that he maximizes the time allotted. Feels like I’ve been working with him for years after just a few sessions.
David is amazing, great listener, offers very real honest feedback. Challenges you when its needed, respectful and kind. Helped me with practical ways to change my thinking and improve my day to day.
I had three sessions with David Whiteman regarding pornography addiction and found his contributions incredibly helpful. He never judged me and never took my thoughts or feelings lightly. I was fearful at first that my issue wasn't big enough to have his attention when other people seem to struggle with more urgent issues, but every time I was with him I felt like I had all his attention and care. We were able to go very deep very quick and use our limited time very well and I feel I come out of three sessions with a lot of tools and things to think on as I continue my journey. I especially appreciated how he would allow me to lead, when I had something I wanted to talk about and how he would appropriately sense when it was his turn to lead the conversation. I appreciated how he would say "may I make an observation" or preface things such as "I'm just going to throw this out there and I want to hear what you think about it". His Christian insight was very trustworthy and refreshing as he balanced it well with clinical insights to help me develop as a whole person. I would recommend him for Christians and non-Christians as he asks exactly what role you prefer to have spirituality take in the therapy. Thank you so much, Dr. Whiteman, for your help.
Troy does a great job helping me think through and process why I react or think about things. He then provides exercise and different thought processes for me to help me.
So far he has been very helpful.
David is very friendly and very down to earth. He is kind and sensitive enough to allow a client to feel comfortable, yet still able to challenge a client’s perspective in a gentle manner which is effective. He has a lighthearted and easygoing energy.
