Hi, I’m Aashima Aggarwal, a fully trained and qualified counsellor, psychotherapist, and life coach with over 16 years of experience providing counselling and therapy.
If you are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, low, stressed, angry, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, you do not have to face it alone. I offer a safe, confidential, and compassionate space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported.
My strength lies in listening deeply, with care and respect, so I can understand not only what you are saying, but also what you may have been carrying quietly for a long time. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be honest, open, and accepted as you are.
I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. My approach is integrative, which means I draw from different therapeutic tools depending on what feels most helpful for you. This may include talking therapy, CBT techniques where appropriate, meditation, grounding exercises, Emotional Freedom Technique, EFT tapping, and reflective therapeutic work.
I have particular experience supporting people with anxiety, depression, stress, work-related stress, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, parenting difficulties, insomnia, anger, emotional overwhelm, life changes, and relationship or communication difficulties.
You see, when someone comes to therapy, they are often carrying more than one concern. Anxiety may be connected to low self-worth. Stress may be connected to burnout. Anger may be connected to feeling unheard for a long time. Together, we can gently understand these patterns and find healthier ways to respond to yourself, your emotions, and the people around you.
Successful counselling begins with the willingness to help yourself, and that’s okay if you are only just beginning. The moment you accept that support may help, you have already taken a beautiful first step. From there, we can build trust, openness, and a meaningful therapeutic relationship that supports self-awareness, emotional wellbeing, and positive change.
My aim is to help you feel calmer, clearer, more confident, and better able to cope with life’s challenges. You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. We can start exactly where you are, and work together at a pace that feels right for you.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
