Hello and welcome to my profile!

My name is Alexandra, and I am based in England. As an Integrative Counsellor for adults, I have a special interest in supporting clients with stress and anxiety, though I also work with those experiencing burnout, depression, relationship difficulties, workplace problems, and low self-esteem.

My therapeutic approach is integrative. Using a tailored approach that draws from a range of evidence-based therapies, such as CBT, I’ll help you gain insight into your thoughts and feelings. Together, we'll explore the patterns that are holding you back, helping you develop practical coping strategies and a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships.

My goal is to empower you with the confidence and resilience you need to face life’s challenges, including practising self-care. I also work in a holistic way, recognising that you are a whole person. I'll consider the connections between your mind, body, and relationships to achieve comprehensive well-being.

There is no waiting list and no calls to make. Simply fill out a short questionnaire and send your first message.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Dr. Kiss is a formidable therapist. For the past several months her skillful expertise has helped me unpack my emotions and guide me through a couple of months of intense family relationships. I am so very happy that I "stumbled" upon the betterhelp app (through one of my favorite podcasts) and that I was "matched' with Dr. Kiss! Thank you so much. I am so grateful and shall definitely recommend both the app and Dr. Kiss to friends and family.

I really enjoy working with Alexandra, and I feel very calm & comfortable from her demeanour. She asks questions that make me reflect and come to realisations that I wouldn't have without her. She has been very helpful, listening, and a great support to me in a period when I really needed a therapist on the sideline.

We are just a few weeks in and with my issues I think we have a while to go yet but my initial hesitation has completely gone and I look forward to our sessions. Alexandra is a good fit for me, she is empathetic, kindly but professional, and responds to me in a very timely manner too so I have been able to relax into the process.

Reviewed November 2022

Great experience so far, and Alexandra is very calm and understanding to talk to. Sometimes I crave for more direct advise but I understand the point of therapy is not for someone to guide you, but to explore yourself and let those questions and discoveries guide you.
