11 years ago I made the decision to go to therapy in an attempt to change my life and overcome my own personal challenges. I was so fed up of repeating the same cycles and felt there was so much more to life than the life I was living. I loved the therapeutic process, don't get me wrong it wasn't easy but I was determined to turn my life around, and that I did. I loved the process so much that I wanted to help other woman who were struggling and support them in bettering their lives. I decided to enrol onto a Life Coaching course and the rest is history. After qualifying as Life Coach I went onto qualify in clinical Hypnotherapy and then later qualified as a psychotherapist. I've spent the last 10 years as a therapist in private practice, empowering woman to change their lives.
I have an integrative approach to therapy which means I use a variety of therapy modalities to support you in your process. I specialise in psychotherapy approaches such as Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person Centred, Solution Focussed Therapy, Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT) and Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I also integrate Life coaching approaches such as Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), holistic coaching and SMART goal setting. One size does not fit all, and this is why I personally feel it's so important to offer clients a variety of approaches.
As a therapist I have gained a lot of experience working with various mental health conditions such as generalised anxiety disorder, panic attacks, stress, depression, low self-esteem, self-doubt, abuse, trauma, suicidal ideation and identity issues. Therapy doesn't have to be a last resort when life feels like its falling apart, there's so much to gain just from learning self-awareness, learning how to break cycles or gaining some support working towards a goal you may have. You may want to talk through and process a trauma or a current situation that maybe causing some distress, it maybe that you need some coping strategies and better ways of managing situations and emotions. Therapy has a lot to offer and I truly believe everybody can benefit from it.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
