You might be here because something in your life doesn’t feel right, but you’re not sure what to do about it. You might feel stuck, directionless, or unsure of who you are or who you want to be. Perhaps you’ve spent a long time thinking things through, trying to understand yourself, but still feel no closer to moving forward.
I usually work with people aged 17–45 who feel lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves or their lives.
Many of the people I work with feel like they don’t quite belong; whether that’s socially, professionally, or in how they see themselves. Themes around identity, masculinity, self-expression, and confidence often come up in our work.
You don’t need a clear “problem” to begin therapy. Often, the starting point is simply a sense that something isn’t quite right.
My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded.
I aim to create a space where you can explore who you are without feeling judged or pushed into a particular mould. Rather than trying to “fix” you, we’ll focus on understanding your patterns, your thinking, and what actually matters to you.
I tend to work well with people who:
- think deeply but feel stuck
- struggle to take action despite understanding themselves
- feel overwhelmed by choices or possibilities
I’ll gently challenge you where needed, help you recognise patterns, and support you in building confidence and clarity.
I work in an integrative style, drawing from person-centred and psychodynamic approaches.
In practice, this means we look both at your present experience - what’s happening now - and at your history, relationships, and patterns to understand how things have developed.
We might explore your life in terms of patterns, choices, and direction, thinking about how you want to shape your path going forward.
I don’t believe that therapy is about changing who you are so you can fit in.
I believe it’s about understanding yourself well enough to decide how you want to live, even if that looks different from what’s expected.
For many people, the journey is less about becoming someone new, and more about recognising and building on what’s already there. You're already the best in the world at being you; my role is to help you to embrace that.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
I have experience working with young people in a secondary school setting and continue to undertake professional development throughout the year.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
