I am licensed in the UK with 20 + years of professional work experience. I have worked as a professional clinician in the NHS as a specialist mental health therapist, a trauma specialist, an addictions therapist and an eating disorders therapist. I am also a child and young people's counsellor and a family therapist in schools and the community. I had my own mental health charity which was voted charity of the year. My work has been published and held up as examples of clinical excellence, across localities and services. I also have a private practice for adults and young people. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, low mood, lack of direction, relationship issues, bereavement, neurodiversity, trauma, childhood abuse and a range of other issues. I offer a warm, empathic space without judgement. I understand how the challenges of life can impact us. Through developing insight and with compassion, I will work with you to help you feel better.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
