Welcome, my name is Helen.

I am a psychotherapist, counsellor and coach.

I help my clients to manage and overcome anxiety, constant worrying and overthinking.

For many, these challenges can show up as a persistent dwelling on things for no clear reason. It may be a low mood, feeling not good enough, self-consciousness, feeling overwhelmed, panicked or stressed, often with a fear of being judged.

At times, we can all feel stuck. Uncertain about the future or unsure of what to do next. Sometimes, what we need most is a safe, supportive space to talk, think and reflect. A place to process what is going on in our lives.

I support those who struggle with overthinking and rumination, especially at night, to help them to relax and enjoy a restful sleep

You can expect to begin to feel comfortable leaving the house without putting up barriers. Also, to socialise more easily, try new hobbies and set healthy boundaries in your personal and professional life.

I work with you to help you feel confident to speak up in meetings and present to groups. I also support challenges related to ADHD and neurodiversity

Whatever has brought you here, let us take the first step and talk it through together.

My approach;

Therapy is a collaborative journey of learning, growth and change. Like any meaningful effort, it is not always easy and at times can feel like hard work.

The process of counselling may be challenging and emotional, but it can also be exciting, energising, and deeply transformative.

To enable growth, we often are required to step outside our comfort zones. While that can be difficult, it is where some of the most rewarding and courageous work happens.

You will not be alone in this process. I work alongside you, at your pace, to help you to move, step by step, towards your goals.

We can connect in whatever way feels most comfortable for you, either online, by phone or in person.

I am an integrative therapist, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centred, and Psychodynamic approaches. This flexibility allows me to tailor our work to your individual needs.

Taking the first step can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone.

Get in touch to arrange an initial chat — I look forward to supporting you on your journey.

We can talk on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
