Recent reviews

Love her, she is very attentive and I appreciate having Vanessa as my therapist.

Reviewed April 2023

I have seen Vanessa a few times now and although I thought years of therapy would’ve gotten me through my hard past, we are re-addressing and really digging into the roots of my struggles. I feel incredibly understood for the first time in a while and feel hopeful about overcoming obstacles my prior therapy hadn’t been able to address. She is responsive, thoughtful, and kind. Our sessions have made me really think about my world differently, and therefore the world differently, in the most constructive of ways.

More about Vanessa

  • 11 years' experience
  • Female
  • LPC

I am licensed in Wisconsin and have been working as a therapist for over 11 years. I have experience supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, burnout, self-esteem concerns, and emotional overwhelm.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I work to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable being honest about what they are experiencing without fear of criticism or shame.

Reaching out for support takes courage, especially when life feels overwhelming or uncertain. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered as we work through challenges together.

I believe therapy works best when people feel genuinely safe, understood, and able to show up as themselves.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
