Hi, my name is Dawn. I have been a counselling professional since 2005 and have extensive experience supporting children, young people, and adults with a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges.
My approach is real, grounded, and relational. I understand how heavy emotional pain can feel and how deeply it can affect daily life and relationships. I also believe in the possibility of growth, acceptance, and the emergence of a more authentic, freer way of being. I work creatively and compassionately, with a strong emphasis on truly listening.
Over the years, I have developed significant experience working with individuals with Autism and ADHD. I understand the everyday realities of masking, anxiety, sensory overwhelm, and the lack of wider support and awareness. I work in a neurodivergent‑affirming way, recognising the strengths, patterns, and coherence within each person’s experience.
I have worked in a variety of settings including schools, fostering communities, Live Well Kent (a mental health and wellbeing organisation), GP surgeries, counselling charities, and my own private practice.

Since starting my therapy with Dawn, I have seen a positive change in my life. She has listened, directed and found the heart of my problems, which has given me the space to start the process of healing and to take action on something more positive and grounding.
