I’m a Social Worker and Child & Family Therapist with extensive experience supporting adults and families through periods of stress, change and uncertainty. My work has included counselling and support, complex family work, parenting support, relationship and separation issues, family violence, anxiety, overwhelm and major life transitions.

My approach is warm, practical and collaborative. I draw on evidence-informed, strengths-based and trauma-informed approaches, adapting therapy to the individual rather than expecting one approach to work for everyone. I aim to provide a space where you can speak openly, make sense of what is happening, and develop practical strategies that are useful outside of the therapy room.

I particularly enjoy working with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, stretched between competing demands, or unsure about what needs to change. Therapy with me can involve understanding patterns, building coping strategies, strengthening relationships and boundaries, navigating difficult decisions, or simply having a dedicated space to work through what you are carrying.

My goal is for our work to feel purposeful and relevant to your life. We will work together to identify what you need from therapy and focus our sessions accordingly.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
