I am an Australian‑credentialed therapist with extensive experience across public sectors, not‑for‑profit organisations, NGOs, and private practice both within Australia and internationally. Working in these diverse settings has shaped a practice grounded in cultural sensitivity, respect, and a deep appreciation for the many ways people navigate their lives and relationships.
At this stage, I offer weekend appointments only due to other professional commitments. If weekends align with your schedule, you are welcome to explore my calendar and select a time and session format that suits you. I generally prefer video or phone sessions, as these allow for real‑time emotional connection and help build a therapeutic relationship that supports meaningful, long‑term progress.
My areas of focus include relationship issues, family conflict, trauma and abuse, and grief and loss. I work from a strengths‑based perspective, holding the belief that you are the expert of your own story. My role is to support you in uncovering the resilience, insight, and capacity you already carry, while walking alongside you as you navigate the challenges that bring you to therapy. Reaching out for support is a courageous step, and I honour the trust it takes to begin this process.
To ensure that our work together remains consistent and respectful of both our time, I ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Repeated cancellations or no‑shows can disrupt the therapeutic process, so after a third late cancellation or missed session, I may need to issue a closing notice. This helps maintain fairness and ensures availability for clients who are ready to engage consistently.
For safety and ethical reasons, I do not work with clients experiencing acute depression, acute anxiety, or severe mental‑health crises. These situations require a higher level of care and immediate, specialised support. If you are experiencing acute symptoms, it’s important to seek help from a qualified mental‑health service that can provide the level of care you need.
All payment‑related questions, billing issues, or subscription concerns should be directed to the BetterHelp administrative team. Therapists are not involved in processing payments and cannot resolve billing matters.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
