More about Julie

  • 16 years' experience
  • Female
  • LCSW, LICSW

As a licensed therapist in Indiana with over 16 years of experience, I’ve worked with a wide range of people navigating stress, anxiety, addiction, and relationship challenges. I care deeply about the work I do, and I show up for my clients in a real, grounded way.

My style is compassionate, but it is also direct. I am not the kind of therapist who just nods along. I am going to be honest with you, even when it is uncomfortable, because that is where real change happens. I will challenge patterns that are not serving you, help you see things from a different perspective, and support you in doing the work it takes to grow. That means you have to be willing to hear feedback and be open to it.

I often work with clients dealing with social anxiety, trauma, attachment issues, and communication struggles. Together, we focus on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and improving how you show up in your relationships, both with others and with yourself.

At the end of the day, my goal is to help you feel more grounded, more confident, and more connected. I will meet you with empathy, but I will also be real with you, because you deserve honesty, clarity, and meaningful progress.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
