Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Paula has eased me into therapy at my own pace but forced me to work on difficult and sensitive issues in a healthy and productive way. She listens and shows that she genuinely cares, asking questions about things I may have said in passing or completely forgot I ever said. I feel very lucky to have gotten Paula as my first therapist on here and the changes I’m noticing in the person I am based on a few short months of work have me feeling very confident in my future.

Paula is absolutely amazing and I am so grateful to have met her. She is incredibly knowledgable and very passionate about what she does. We instantly connected and I feel very comfortable to open up to her. Working with her has been life-changing and I have already learnt to much about myself. Our session are a safe space where I allow myself to feel and reflect. Paula is able to break things down for me when I feel too overwhelmed and connects the dots where I struggle to see the connection. I'm happy to continue this journey of growth and feel very reassured knowing she'll support me in it.
