About Me
Do you find yourself overthinking everything, feeling anxious or overwhelmed, or never quite feeling good enough?
Perhaps your mind rarely switches off. You may look capable and confident to other people, while inside you feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed or unsure of yourself.
You might be struggling with anxiety, intrusive or obsessive thoughts(OCD), ADHD, emotional regulation, low self-confidence or difficult feelings around food and your body. You may be dealing with experiences from childhood that still affect you today, or going through pregnancy, becoming a parent or adjusting to life after having a baby.
Or perhaps the difficulty is within your relationship, communication has broken down, intimacy has changed, you keep having the same arguments, or you are trying to make sense of loss of trust.
Sometimes we understand our patterns very well but still find ourselves repeating them.
Therapy can help you understand why something keeps happening, what happens when you are triggered, and how to begin responding differently.
How I Can Help
I am a trauma-informed psychotherapist and hypnotherapist working with adults and couples.
I regularly support people experiencing:
Anxiety, panic and OCD-related difficulties ADHD, neurodiversity and emotional regulation
Low self-confidence, self-criticism and perfectionism
Eating difficulties, binge eating, body image and disordered eating
Depression, low mood and loneliness
Trauma, difficult childhood experiences and bullying
People-pleasing and difficulty setting boundaries
Pregnancy, postnatal adjustment and the transition to parenthood
Bereavement, grief and loss
Attachment and relationship difficulties
You may have spent years functioning well on the outside while feeling very different internally. Perhaps you already understand where some of your difficulties come from, but that understanding disappears when you become anxious, triggered or emotionally overwhelmed.
My aim is to help you move beyond simply understanding your patterns towards actually experiencing something different.
Together we can explore what is happening emotionally, psychologically and within your body, while developing practical ways of managing difficult emotions, communicating your needs and responding differently when old patterns are activated.
When working with eating difficulties or disordered eating, I can also work collaboratively with a dietitian where appropriate, so that both the psychological and nutritional aspects can be supported.
Couples, Relationships & Intimacy
I work with couples experiencing:
Communication difficulties and recurring arguments
Affairs, betrayal and loss of trust
Emotional disconnection
Intimacy and sexual difficulties
Differences in sexual desire
Attachment difficulties
Jealousy and insecurity
Difficulties with boundaries
Major life and relationship transitions
Uncertainty about whether to stay together or separate
Relationship therapy isn't only for couples in crisis.
Sometimes couples love one another but have become caught in patterns where one person pursues while the other withdraws, conversations quickly become defensive, or both partners feel unheard.
We can slow these patterns down, understand what is happening underneath them and develop different ways of communicating and connecting.
Following an affair or betrayal, therapy can also provide a space to process what has happened and decide what comes next, whether that means rebuilding the relationship or finding a healthier way forward separately.
My Approach
My approach is integrative, collaborative and trauma-informed. I don't expect every person to fit one therapeutic model, so I adapt our work to you.
Depending on what you need, our sessions may include:
Attachment-focused therapy
CBT and practical strategies
Nervous-system regulation and grounding
Somatic and body-based approaches
Compassion-focused work
Inner-child and parts work
Exploring boundaries, self-worth and the inner critic
Relationship and communication work
Hypnotherapy where appropriate
I am particularly interested in the connection between the mind and body.
Sometimes you logically know that you are safe, capable or worthy, but your body continues to react as though something is wrong.
For this reason, therapy with me isn't necessarily just about talking. We can also explore what happens when you become triggered and help your mind and body develop different ways of responding.
I also offer a Yoga-CBT programme, combining psychological approaches with body-based practices for anxiety, trauma and stress.
A Little About Me
Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than a decade working in the corporate world and was involved in mental health and inclusion initiatives.
Because of this, I understand the pressure to perform, achieve and appear capable while privately struggling with anxiety, self-doubt or overwhelm.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative and non-judgemental.
I will give you space to talk, but therapy with me isn't limited to discussing what happened during the week. I will also help you identify patterns, understand what happens when you are triggered and experiment with different ways of responding.
The aim isn't to turn you into a different person.
It is to help you understand yourself more deeply, feel more comfortable being yourself and have greater choice in how you respond to your thoughts, emotions, relationships and life.
What to Expect
In our first session, we will explore what’s bringing you to therapy and what you would like to feel or experience differently.
Sessions can be weekly or bi-weekly, online or in person.
Some people come for short-term support, while others choose longer-term work. We will go at a pace that feels right for you.
Next Steps
Reaching out can feel like a big step but you don’t have to do it alone.
If something in this profile resonates with you, I warmly invite you to get in touch.
Together, we can begin to make sense of what you’re going through and take it one step at a time.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
