Hello and welcome!

I’m a qualified Therapeutic Counsellor based in the UK and a registered member of both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS Acc.). I have over three years of professional counselling experience and have worked in private practice, the NHS prison system, and within local authority and charity organisations.

I currently support adults facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, past and present trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence, grief and loss, pregnancy and postnatal mental health issues, child bereavement or separation, and women’s health concerns. I also work with body image issues, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, and major life transitions.

My counselling approach is integrative, meaning I draw from different therapeutic models to meet your individual needs. I work in a trauma-aware and culturally mindful way, drawing primarily from person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) approaches. I also incorporate somatic awareness and schema therapy techniques to help explore the mind-body connection and shift long-standing patterns and beliefs.

Above all, I aim to offer a therapeutic space where you feel safe and heard. Together we can explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours at your own pace and begin to make meaningful changes in your life.

I look forward to supporting you on your therapeutic journey.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
