I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor under supervision in the Augusta, GA areas with 5 years of experience. I am an Air Force veteran. After my military contract was completed. I became a Department of Defense employee for 10 years taking care of our nation's heroes. I earned a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I am a mother of three. My youngest son was born with Congenital Heart Disease. This experience has made me understand how to properly deal with life stressors that are completely out of one’s control.

I have a considerable amount of experience working with diverse populations to include but not limited to: individual, couples, anxiety, depression, adjustment, self-esteem, anger, grief and loss, communication, personality disorders, parenting, divorce, sexual abuse, trauma, PTSD and military culture.

My therapeutic orientation includes Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. I often incorporate Creative Therapy Techniques such as art, creative writing, poetry, and music. Nonetheless, I will collaborate with you to develop a treatment plan specific to your needs.
