Sometimes you an look as though you're coping with life on the outside while inside you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, exhausted or simply unsure of what to do next.

You don't have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy.

I am a therapist with many years of experience supporting adults and young people.. I offer a warm , compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can be yourself, talk openly and feel genuinely heard.

I believe therapy should feel like a place where you don't have to pretend that everything is okay. Together we can explore what is happening for you, understand that things that may be keeping you stuck and begin to find ways forward that feel realistic and right for you.

How I work.

There's isn't a one-size fits-all approach to therapy. Every person is different,-so I take time to understand you -your experiences, your relationships, your strengths and the things you are finding difficult.

I work collaboratively , which means we work together rather than me simply you what you should do.

Sometimes you may need to talk things though. Sometimes you may need practical strategies, a different perspective or simply someone to listen without judgement.

My approach is supportive, down-to -earth and focused on helping you develop greater understanding, confidence and emotional resilience.

I can support you with :

Work/Office challenges

Relationships

Mindfulness

Meditation

Parenting support

Neurodivergent challenges

Anxiety and depression

Anger and emotional regulation

Low self-esteem and confidence

Christianity

Children (Teens)

Young People

Old People

ADHD

Autism

My formal training is Person Centred Counselling. I use many therapies including creativity, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). On your first assessment we will decide together the most suitable method of therapy to meet your requirements.

I hold Foundation Degrees in Counselling Studies and Early Childhood Studies and Practice. I also hold a Bachelors Degree in Education Studies. I am training at present in Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher Training.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
