( Nige ) I’m here to support you with your mental health and wellbeing. Life can feel overwhelming at times, and it’s not always easy to know where to turn. My role is to offer you a safe and supportive space where you can talk in complete confidence, openly and honestly, without fear of judgement. I work with people experiencing stress, anxiety, low mood, trauma, or simply a sense of feeling stuck. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening for you, find clarity, and work on practical steps that can make a real difference in your day-to-day life. My focus is always on you and your emotional wellbeing, and my aim is to help you feel more grounded, resilient, and able to move forward with confidence.

My background is over 35yrs of people management and psychology based coaching. I formalised this with an BSc Psychology (HONs) which led me to start working more specifically within counselling and an MSc Counselling & Psychotherapy. I have been counselling in a clinical setting for over 3yrs and have experience with adults as well as high school students and as a Specialist Mental Health Mentor to University students. I currently have over 500 hours of supervised clinical counselling.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
