Hi, my name is Karolina and I am a Humanistic Counsellor and Therapist. My therapeutic style is centred around compassion, respect and empathy, and I value working collaboratively to support your growth and healing. I work within the humanistic approach, where I believe that each client is the expert on themselves. I am here for you to help hold whatever you wish to bring to the therapy, help you to explore your feelings; not just about presenting issues in your life, but whatever you desire to bring. I can help you increase awareness of what is important to you and realize ways that your strategies to cope might not work for you anymore. I work relationally, where I believe we can create a space together where all the healing and growth can happen. As part of my training, I worked as a therapist in a hospice, supporting people with grief and loss. I have also volunteered for a low-cost counselling charity supporting people who have experienced depression, anxiety, alcoholism and low self-esteem to name a few.
