I finished my first counselling training in Hong Kong in 2009 and then worked as a licensed therapist in Australia for 6 years. Apart from training in psychotherapy, I also had training and work experience in spiritual direction for 17 years (my training is in the Christian tradition but I am an ecumenical Christian who does not hold antagonistic view towards people who practice from other religious traditions as long as it is non-violent). I welcome clients to explore all aspects of their lives in therapy space.
I have experience in helping clients with self-discovery, stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, drug and alcohol usage, relationship challenges, LGBT identity challenge, single life challenge, domestic violence, loss and grief, rebuilding motivation and self esteem.
I believe sufferings in life come from many factors. I personally have experienced the challenge of long-term sickness, migration, sexual assault, workplace bullying, harassment, gangstalking, religious abuse, spiritual abuse, image-based abuse, narcissistic abuse, public humiliation and even murder attempts. These personal experience has shaped me to believe that life sometimes can be cruel, but humans can also find the strength to live when right support and resources is available. Even if I cannot solve your struggles, I hope you will find me as a compassionate witness to your pain and challenges, and as a fellow human who genuinely cares about the suffering of others. In a world with many troubles (and evil) that are beyond our control, I believe every human encounter could at least be a potential transitory space to create kindness and goodness that nurture and sustain us.
In my approach of therapy, I hope you will experience a non-judgemental, non-shaming and supportive space to talk about your concerns and hopes. I am here as a companion to assist you to see clearer the situation you are facing. My hope is to support you to find the strengths and resources that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you and live a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
Even you do not know what you want from therapy, and already feeling life is quite satisfactory but curious how a genuine conversation can benefit your life, you are welcome. If you are looking for a person to support you deeply reflect on your life without being judged as overthinking, you are very welcome because I also believe reflection is a portal to wisdom.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
