If you’re here, it’s likely because a part of you is ready—ready for relief, steadiness, and a different way of carrying what you’ve been holding for so long. Surviving trauma often means learning to carry far more than anyone should have to hold alone. I work with clients who want to feel safer in their own minds and bodies, at a pace that honors their nervous system and lived experience. As a queer, Black, cisgender woman, I bring an affirming, culturally responsive approach to therapy and am committed to creating a space where you are respected, believed, and never rushed or judged.

My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and skills-focused. I integrate trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) strategies, Motivational Interviewing, ACT-informed practices, and the Neurosequential Model of Therapy (NMT). I specialize in working with children and adolescents with trauma histories and behavioral issues at home, school, or that result in academic or legal consequences. I work with high-functioning adults and professionals navigating complex or developmental trauma, ADHD (including late-diagnosed women), anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and major life or identity transitions. I also work with executives, leaders, and first responders/law enforcement managing work stress, imposter syndrome, and executive-functioning challenges.

At the core of my work is helping clients develop a healthier relationship with themselves. Many people know how to survive—but struggle with self-forgiveness when boundaries slip or old patterns resurface. Together, we build practical coping tools you’ll actually use and shift your inner voice toward compassion and confidence. If you’re looking for a therapist who listens deeply, honors your whole story, and blends warmth with clinical expertise, I invite you to reach out and see if we’re a good fit—taking that first step can be the beginning of meaningful change.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
