Hello, and welcome.
I'm Niveen, a Clinical Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor specialising in anxiety, stress, burnout, trauma, relationships, family dynamics and life transitions. I bring over a decade of experience supporting individuals, couples and families across mental health, counselling, psychotherapy, mindfulness, nervous system regulation and wellbeing.
I work with people who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected or struggling to navigate the challenges life has presented. My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, workplace stress, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, trauma, cultural identity concerns and major life transitions.
My approach is warm, collaborative and tailored to each individual. Drawing on evidence-based counselling and psychotherapy approaches, including CBT, Schema Therapy, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness and trauma-informed practice, I help clients gain deeper insight, strengthen relationships, regulate their nervous system and create meaningful, lasting change.
Alongside my clinical work, I integrate mindfulness and nervous system regulation approaches where appropriate, recognising the connection between mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. With a background spanning counselling, psychotherapy, Ayurveda, yoga and meditation, I support clients in developing greater self-awareness, resilience and balance.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, supported and empowered. Whether you are seeking support for a current challenge or looking to better understand yourself and your relationships, I look forward to working with you.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
