I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges and build meaningful, lasting change. I have experience working with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, emotional dysregulation, self-esteem struggles, relationship difficulties, grief, life transitions, and personality-related challenges.
I believe that many of the struggles people experience are not signs of weakness or personal failure. Often, they are the result of a nervous system that has been under stress for far too long. When we spend extended periods in survival mode, it can become difficult to feel calm, connected, confident, or hopeful. My approach focuses on helping clients understand these patterns, regulate their nervous systems, develop effective coping strategies, and create a life that feels more manageable and fulfilling.
My style is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a space where you can speak openly about your experiences, feel genuinely heard, and explore challenges without fear of criticism or shame. At the same time, I believe therapy should be more than simply talking about problems. My goal is to help you gain practical tools and insights that can be applied to your daily life.
I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and trauma-informed interventions. Together, we will identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, challenge unhelpful beliefs, strengthen emotional resilience, and develop healthier ways of responding to life's stressors.
Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals facing complex mental health concerns, crisis situations, trauma histories, chronic stress, and significant life challenges. These experiences have reinforced my belief that people are often far more resilient and capable than they realize. Even when circumstances feel overwhelming, meaningful growth and healing are possible.
Clients often describe me as down-to-earth, easy to talk to, compassionate, and direct when needed. I believe in meeting people where they are while also gently encouraging them toward growth. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to help you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and build the skills and confidence needed to move forward.
Seeking support takes courage, and reaching out for help is often the hardest step. Whether you are facing a specific challenge or simply feel stuck and unsure where to begin, you do not have to navigate it alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you work toward greater healing, balance, and well-being.
