Hi! Thank you for viewing my profile!
Working with individuals inflicted with mental health issues has been my long term passion.
I have a wide array of experience with both mental health and substance use disorders, and specialize in the adult (18+) and geriatric populations. I have been working as the Clinical Supervisor of a crisis center for the past 5 years and prior, as a Behavioral Health Therapist in a psychiatric setting for over 12 years. Earlier in my career, i spent just over 3 years working as a Clinical Care Coordinator and Therapist for an inpatient substance abuse program. I have loved all my positions and have such compassion for those who are suffering.
I obtained my undergraduate degree from University of Buffalo in New York in Health and Human Services with a minor in Sociology and my Masters of Social Work degree from University of South Florida in 2005. I use a person-centered, solution focused approach along with motivational interviewing, and believe that each individual circumstance has its own recipe for success, which includes a high level of trust and rapport between client and therapist.
Most people find me to be extremely empathetic, pragmatic, nonjudgmental, and eternally hopeful. I have a deep passion for helping others in need and firmly believe in the ability to change and better our lives.
I look forward to getting to know you and assist you through your current struggles in attempt to uncover the best version of yourself :)

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
