I am a Spanish-born, registered counsellor in Australia with over five years of professional experience supporting individuals through life's challenges. Having lived and travelled internationally, I bring a culturally sensitive perspective to my practice. I am also a doctoral researcher, a single mother of two, and someone whose personal experiences have deepened my understanding of trauma, resilience, recovery, and post-traumatic growth. These experiences have strengthened my empathy while reinforcing the importance of evidence-based, compassionate care.

I provide a warm, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. I believe healing happens within safe and authentic therapeutic relationships, and I am committed to creating an environment where you feel respected, empowered, and accepted.

I have experience supporting people living with disability, chronic illness, neurodivergence, and complex health conditions, as well as those navigating stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic and family violence, childhood trauma, relationship and family conflict, grief and loss, life transitions, immigration and cultural adjustment, eating disorders, cancer and other life-changing health diagnoses, self-esteem, confidence, and personal growth. I also work with children and adolescents, and adults experiencing suicidal thoughts, self-harm, ADHD, autism, workplace stress, burnout, emotional overwhelm, and the challenges of balancing life's many demands.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Polyvagal Theory-informed approaches, somatic therapies, attachment-based therapy, mindfulness, strengths-based practice, and creative therapies where appropriate. Together, we will develop practical strategies that support meaningful change while honouring your experiences, values, and goals.

I believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you recognise your strengths, build resilience, and develop the skills and confidence to navigate life's challenges with greater clarity and self-compassion.

Seeking support takes courage, and reaching out is often the most difficult step. Whether you are looking to heal from past experiences, manage current challenges, strengthen your relationships, or reconnect with yourself, I would be honoured to support you on your journey with empathy, respect, and genuine care.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
