Greetings, I am an 11 year Marine Corps veteran (2003 to 2014), experienced in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. My main approach is person centered with a spattering of CBT, ACT, and REBT. Feel free to chat with me a bit and see if we work well together. I completed my master's in mental health counseling at Cambridge College in 2022, worked in a psychiatric hospital in a dual diagnosis role from 2022 to 2023, and moved on to community mental health where I worked as an outpatient clinician from 2023 to 2024, earning my licensure in December of that year.
I have worked with a multitude of mental health needs. What I have found most helpful as a therapist is to get to know the person sitting with me in their moment of need. No matter how complex that need is, that is still a person sitting with me. I am here to help you on your journey. I can't walk for you, but I will walk with you.
Feel free to reach out to me. All of us at some time have felt tired and perhaps needed a hand, no matter how strong we usually are. I'll be glad to help you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
