I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina. After completing my graduate training at The State University of New York College at Brockport in 2003, I began my career in the mental health field and have continued to provide compassionate, client-centered therapy for more than two decades.
Throughout my career, I have gained diverse clinical experience in private practice, emergency room settings, and outpatient behavioral health clinics. These experiences have allowed me to work with individuals and families facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges.
My areas of clinical focus include ADHD, behavioral concerns, anxiety, school-related issues, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma and abuse, depression, and relationship and family concerns. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
I believe therapy should be individualized to each person's unique needs, strengths, and circumstances. My goal is to help clients develop practical coping skills, improve emotional well-being, strengthen relationships, and build confidence in navigating life's challenges.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy reading and spending quality time with my seven children. These experiences have further enriched my appreciation for the importance of family, resilience, connection, and the many different challenges individuals encounter throughout life.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
