Seeking therapy can feel like a big step, and finding the right therapist is an important part of the process. I provide a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore life's challenges and work toward meaningful change.
I earned my Master's degree in Counseling from West Texas A&M University in 1992 and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1996. Early in my career, I worked with couples, and individuals in a variety of clinical settings. I primarily work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, loneliness, and relationship challenges.
In addition to my clinical work, I have spent many years in healthcare leadership, giving me firsthand insight into the pressures of demanding careers, major life transitions, and balancing personal and professional responsibilities. I understand how these challenges can affect emotional well-being and relationships.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we'll identify your strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and create a plan that helps you move toward the life you want. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for greater balance and fulfillment, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
