Hi, I’m Amanda. I’m a licensed mental health and addictions counselor who believes therapy should feel like a place where you can finally take a breath, be completely honest, and not have to pretend that everything is okay.
My work is primarily focused on supporting women who are navigating trauma, difficult relationships, major life transitions, self-esteem struggles, and the emotional patterns that can keep us feeling stuck. I’m especially passionate about helping women understand *why* they respond to situations the way they do—and learning how to move forward without allowing their past to define their future.
I take a warm, compassionate, and straightforward approach to therapy. I won’t judge you, and I won’t tell you what you “should” be doing. At the same time, I’m not afraid to gently challenge you when I think there is an opportunity for growth. I believe you deserve both compassion and honesty.
I have training in EMDR and incorporate trauma-informed approaches into my work. I recognize that healing isn’t always linear, and sometimes the goal isn't simply to “feel better.” Sometimes it’s learning to trust yourself again, establish healthier boundaries, break familiar patterns, quiet the inner critic, or finally believe that you are worthy of the life you want.
Most importantly, I want therapy to be a collaborative process. You know yourself and your life better than anyone else. My role is to help you make sense of what you're experiencing, develop the tools to navigate it, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
If you’ve been carrying everything on your own for a long time, you don’t have to do it alone anymore. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
