More about Janine

  • 30 years' experience

I am a person who is a therapist. I have worked in a great deal of places with a variety of clients. Over 30 years I have heard everything. I do not judge or am overly confident I can help everyone. I have experience with personality disorders, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and life changes. Chronic medical issues are an interest for me as well. If your favorite sports team loses the big game, I got you covered too! Go Birds!

Therapy is different for everyone! I want to meet my clients where they are emotionally. This helps me to learn where you feel is the focus of your journey. I have experience in EMDR, CBT, problem-solving, and interpersonal approaches. Ultimately, my clients take me on their journey.

Everyone is different and needs different types of therapy! Therapy doesn't have to be somber and sad. We need to laugh too!

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
