More about Lindsay

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 10 years of experience working as a therapist and parenting coach. I have supported clients through a variety of challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, family conflict, self-esteem and confidence concerns, major life transitions, and the unique challenges that can come with parenting a child with special needs. I also have experience working with children and families involved in the foster care system, including supporting biological families through reunification and helping families navigate the adoption process.

I believe that therapy works best as a partnership. Building a strong, trusting relationship is important to me, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. Together, we will identify the changes you would like to make and work toward practical, meaningful ways to help you get there.

My counseling style is warm, empathetic, interactive, and solution-focused. I will take the time to listen and understand what you are experiencing, while also encouraging you to consider situations from different perspectives and explore new ways of approaching challenges. Our work may include developing problem-solving skills, strengthening communication, learning new ways to navigate conflict, and practicing strategies outside of our sessions.

Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, and meaningful change takes time and effort. You don't have to navigate that process alone. I am here to support and encourage you as you work toward the changes you are seeking and a more fulfilling life.

I look forward to hearing from you and beginning our work together.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
