Hello, and welcome! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas with experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief, life transitions, and challenges with self-esteem and emotional regulation. I also have experience working with individuals struggling with attachment concerns, obsessive thoughts, and complex emotional experiences.

My approach to counseling is primarily person-centered, meaning I believe that a genuine, trusting therapeutic relationship is one of the most important foundations for meaningful change. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself, exploring difficult emotions, and working through life's challenges at your own pace.

In addition to person-centered therapy, I incorporate elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and psychodynamic approaches to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relational patterns. I believe therapy should be collaborative and individualized, and I tailor my approach to each person's unique experiences, needs, and goals.

I am especially passionate about helping people develop a deeper understanding of themselves, challenge longstanding beliefs that may be holding them back, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. My goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms, but to support you in developing greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and lasting personal growth.

I understand that beginning therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you're unsure where to start or how to put your experiences into words. You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Whether you're navigating a difficult season of life, working through past experiences, or simply hoping to better understand yourself, I'm here to walk alongside you.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
