It’s lovely to connect with you, and thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me.

I’m a Qualified Mental Health Social Worker with 10 years of experience supporting people through life’s challenges. Throughout my work, I’ve supported individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, relationship and parenting difficulties, trauma, abuse, burnout, anger, bullying, school attendance difficulties, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and struggles with motivation, self-esteem and confidence.

My approach is person-centred and strengths-based. I believe everyone has their own story, and I want you to feel comfortable bringing yours into our sessions. I aim to create a warm, safe and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and accepted as you are. Together, we can explore what’s happening in your life, make sense of your experiences and build on the strengths and resources you already have.

I know that reaching out for support isn't always easy, and I truly value the courage it takes to take that first step. You don't have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. We can take things at your pace, working together towards greater self-understanding, emotional wellbeing and a life that feels more meaningful and fulfilling to you.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
